Alex McFarland Ministries’ Viral Truth Campus Clubs combat human secularism

Alex McFarland: ‘For youth looking for something more than what the world can offer, it can be difficult to know where to turn’

GREENSBORO, N.C. — Today’s society promotes human secularism — the idea that human beings are capable of being ethical and moral without religion or belief in a deity. With the emphasis on humanity rather than the divine, America is seeing a sharp decline in Christianity. For today’s youth, the removal of God in society and schools poses an interesting conundrum. U.S. teens are less likely to rate religion as a priority in their lives and to say they believe in God with absolute certainty. However, a majority of teens say that religion is at least somewhat important in their lives. For youth who want to know more about God, where should they turn in a world that doesn’t prioritize religion?

“For youth looking for something more than what the world can offer, it can be difficult to know where to turn,” said renowned speaker, author, and apologist Alex McFarland. “Without any guidance from trusted friends, family, and mentors, it can be so easy for today’s teens to get entangled in religions and organizations that are not biblically based, creating even more confusion in a world full of turmoil.”

Alex McFarland and Alex McFarland Ministries are proud to announce its new Viral Truth Campus Clubs, unique gatherings designed to equip Christian youth with the tools they might need to go out into their schools and share the Good News to other teens who may not know the Gospel.

“For youth who are interested in learning more about Christ, it’s even more powerful to have Christians their own age share the Gospel,” McFarland commented. “Our Viral Truth Campus Clubs offer the opportunity for Christian students to facilitate discussions about tough topics they are faced with today in a group setting with others their age who might need to hear the truth of the Gospel. The goal is to understand what God’s Word has to say about all aspects of our world and issues are discussed from a biblical perspective.

“Alex McFarland Ministries will come alongside middle school, high school, and college student leaders to provide mentorship and coaching to equip teens to reach their friends with the Gospel message and with truth to combat the ‘woke’ agendas of human secularism, socialism and moral relativism. Our Viral Truth Campus Clubs will bring the Gospel to the students, helping them regain their respect for our nation and teaching them what is true and trustworthy. Already, hundreds of teens nationwide have been coached.”
